Back in 2012, DS Natural Products were busy formulating natural and organic shampoo's, toothpaste, balms and cosmetics for humans.
Then Macy (Jack Russell Terrier) came on the scene. Macy was born with a deformed leg and her paw was missing.
At 12 months old she was having infection issues and so surgery to remove the leg became necessary.
This had a number of effects (not on Macy, although see does run faster now!) but on us as her 'parents'.
We realised how our life centered around Macy and the 'dog world' and decided to investigate the natural and organic dog products on the market.
To be honest, we were shocked. Regulations for dog products are shockingly lax. Add a single, tiny amount of a natural ingredient into a chemical laden formula and manufacturers can use the word natural on the label!
Also, listing the ingredients is not required. increadably this is optional.
So, change was required and Doggystyle was born. Doogystyle products will always use the highest quality natural and organic ingredients. There will never be any 'nasties'
